HangarScope ("we") runs hangarscope.com and is the data controller for information collected here. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
What we collect and why
When you submit the waitlist form, we store your email address, IP address, user-agent, and submission timestamp. We use your email to notify you when HangarScope launches and to send related product updates; we use the IP and user-agent to prevent abuse. Our legal basis under GDPR is your consent for the email and our legitimate interest in securing the service for the rest.
Who processes it
We use Cloudflare for hosting and database services to operate this site, and Resend to send the launch email and related product updates you signed up for. They process your data on our behalf under standard data-processing terms, and your data may be stored on their infrastructure outside your country, including in the United States, under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. A current list of our processors is available on request. No other third parties receive your data.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until you ask us to remove you or for a reasonable period after launch. To opt out at any time, email . We'll remove you within 30 days.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction that grants them, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the personal data we hold, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law. HangarScope is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Changes
If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify waitlist subscribers by email before the change takes effect.
